French Broad Consulting offers a variety of services in the construction industry. Andrew Garrard began his construction career working as a laborer for a local residential general contractor in Maryland. After spending a few summers as a laborer and then an internship with a Commercial general contractor in Maryland, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from East Carolina University in 2014.

Upon graduating, he worked for several premier general contracting firms where he managed a variety of projects in Utah, Washington, California, North Carolina, Iowa & Wisconsin including Mission Critical Data Centers, Proprietary Research & Design Facilities, Big Tech Corporate Headquarters, Interior Renovations, Behavior Health, Commercial Shell Space, and a Public/County Courthouse.

Andrew is a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina, holding a limited license and is excited to team up with clients on building relationships and their new home or investment venture.

French Broad Consulting also provides services to clients looking for a Consultant or a Construction/Project Manager to assist with successfully managing a project to its completion. Cradle to Cradle is our philosophy which is why it is important to start together at the beginning of the project (preferably design build), during pre-construction. Starting together the beginning, we can nail down target design, budget, and dates and work together to achieve our goals ending with a successful closeout.

Andrew is also active in green building and people's well being and is currently a LEED Green Associate & WELL Accredited Professional.
